A beach visit can be a full day in itself, with a swim, a walk and lunch beside the lagoon. For a more active outing, Leisure Island lists watersports and beginner golf lessons as well as its course.
Decide on one main priority before adding more. An independent shuttle visit leaves you to shape the time ashore. An organised excursion has its own return, and some of the day belongs to the boat journey or another island.
Spend time beside the lagoon
White-sand beaches and shallow lagoon scenery are the island’s simplest draw. Settle on the sand, walk along the shore or swim where the day’s conditions and local instructions allow.
For a beach-centred visit, keep the plan simple: time by the water, a meal and one activity if it appeals. A wider island-hopping route uses more of the day travelling, so leave the shore time for the things you most want to do.

Know where the snorkelling takes place

A boat trip’s snorkelling stop can be offshore rather than on the beach at Ile aux Cerfs. Blue Safari uses Trou Moutou in the southeast lagoon. SirenaMoris’s five-island trip includes equipment, but marks its Île aux Aigrettes swim and snorkel stop as optional.
If snorkelling is your priority, allow for the boat stop as well as the island visit. Starline asks guests to bring equipment or request it ahead, subject to availability.
Parasailing, tow rides or a board on the lagoon
Leisure Island advertises parasailing, speedboat rides, water skiing, wakeboarding and banana rides. These give you a different way to enjoy the lagoon alongside time on the sand. Make one activity the focus of the afternoon, with beach time around it.
Arrange a watersport with its activity provider and leave a clear margin before your boat returns. Ask about the price, participation requirements and time needed before paying. The featured excursions treat island watersports as extras, so keep that spending separate from a cruise lunch or boat fare.

Choose lunch by the beach or at the clubhouse
Sands Grill overlooks the lagoon and serves local fish and seafood, Mauritian dishes and pizzas. Sands Bar offers pizzas and drinks, including cocktails made with local fruit. The Leisure Island dining page places its beachside restaurants on the northern half of the island.
Langer’s Bar & Grill is farther south at the Golf Club clubhouse, overlooking the practice range and 18th hole. It offers Mauritian and international dishes. That makes it a different lunch setting from Sands Grill or Sands Bar, rather than another beachside stop.
On an organised day, lunch may already be elsewhere: Blue Safari serves its barbecue on the catamaran, while SirenaMoris’s five-island outing eats on Margénie Island. Use the reservation contacts on the official dining page if a sit-down lunch is part of your plan.

A golf round or a beginner lesson
The Golf Academy offers initiation classes for beginners and non-golfers. A lesson is a different plan from committing to a full round, and both need their own arrangements with the club.
Golf green fees include boat transfer. The club requires golf shoes with soft spikes, a collared shirt and tailored trousers or Bermuda shorts. Denim, beachwear, tennis wear and training shoes are not permitted on the course. Pack for golf before leaving the mainland rather than arriving only in swimwear.
Golf visitors use the club’s separate shuttle and jetty. Arrange a tee time or lesson directly with the club, allowing for its transfer and the time you need to play. A beach excursion’s free-time stop does not include a round or establish that one will fit.

Pack for the shore and keep the return simple
Bring swimwear, a towel, sun protection and a change of clothes. A waterproof bag is useful for the crossing, and a jacket can help on the boat ride back. Keep the belongings you need for an activity with you when leaving the boat.
For an independent day, use the Pointe Maurice–Masala Jetty shuttle details to plan the return. On an excursion, agree the rejoining place and time with the crew before exploring. Choose lunch and any watersport around that return, rather than trying to fit every activity into one visit.
